I asked Jane to redeem us.
“Like a coupon?” she said and laughed.
I laughed too, but then said Please paint me again just so people won’t think I look crazy.
She said, “Oh, don’t you mean so people won’t think I’m crazy?”
I didn’t say anything but I did look at her the way that I do –just kind of staring really intently so she’d know I was serious—and she knew what I meant, so she said Okay, she would try, but once a thing is out there, she said, it might be too late.
I said, “Well, you could always take that last blog down then,” but she said if she did that then there wouldn’t be any reason to try and redeem us and why try painting me again?
Sometimes she talks in circles and you just have to sit there and let her go. So that’s what I did. And then she chased me around the house and out the door in her bare feet on the cold wet ground and we laughed and laughed and laughed.

Cody and Jane

Author Cody and Jane

ABOUT CODY & JANE Jane Roberts and her beloved dog, Cody the Wonderful Dog, decided to team up together to show off his writing skills and her art. She says she wanted the world to hear his thoughts. And he says he wants the world to see her art. Of course, most of the art here is of him, she says, but he says that’s not the point. Either way, they think they are a great combination. Cody says, “You can see more of Jane’s art on her website at http://www.JaneRobertsArt.com” Jane says, “Thanks, Cody. And we hope you enjoy our blog.”
