MORE THAN A PAINTING — These works of art reflect the energy and essence of your pet’s spirit. Artist Jane Roberts connects energetically with the animals she paints, no matter which side of the veil they are on.

“I know nothing about art… nada, but I recognize soul. And I see you repeatedly capturing that intangible, inexplicable essence in your subjects. Brava!!”

~Linda Amburgey, San Francisco

Pet portraits are a great way to honor a pet and serve as a lasting memory.

Let your pet know how you really feel with a custom painted portrait by artist Jane Roberts.

“I gauge the success of my painting based on the degree of sobbing that occurs when you first see it. It’s funny to say that tears are always my goal, but how many other things can we do in this world that bring people to tears of joy?

People tell me the paintings I do of their pets are the best gifts they’ve ever given or received — and for me that is really gratifying.”

~ Jane Roberts, artist

As I work on the painting, I will be attempting to tune into their energy and express their personality energetically through color and movement.

A lot of what I do is based on intuition and a sense of play and engagement with the energy of your pet. This tends to translate into something that really resonates on an emotional level.

It's my goal to make sure you are 1,000 percent satisfied.

About the Artist

Jane Roberts

Skilled in capturing the “essence” of her subjects. Jane creates movement and energy in her paintings. Her use of vibrant colors differentiates her works.

Jane’s paintings hang in the Spa Fine Art Gallery in Saratoga, as well as the elevator of a 5-star, boutique, luxury hotel in SoHo, a horse stable in GA, a high-rise in the Pacific Northwest, and in the collections of billionaire heiress Dylan Lauren, rock star Bibi McGill (Beyonce’s lead guitarist), and some of the top owners, trainers, and jockeys in the country.

Jane’s dog paintings are her most frequently commissioned pieces.

My goal is to create an emotional connection between the viewer and the subject of the piece–to capture the energy and essence of the moment.

Painting in bright, bold splashes full of movement and color thrills me. It’s an energy thing. I tune into my subjects and the rest is basically emotional, spiritual and imaginative. If you were to ask me how I define my creative process, that’s what I’d tell you.

If I am painting your pet, then what I’m looking for is their essence so that when you look at the piece, you feel their spirit as though they were right there with you.

It’s about how the painting makes you feel.

It’s about the experience.

I want it to remind you of being with the one you love—(and you know who that is)!
