Penguins

Jane’s friend Millie is watching a “captivating” documentary about Penguins.

I’m pretty sure I know why she likes it so much. You know why?

Because Penguins are black and have white chests. Just like ME!

Except I don’t like to swim or fly or anything like that.

People say that penguins can’t fly. But I think they can. I think that what they actually can’t do is swim. So, the thing they really do is fly, but in the water. Know what I mean? Think about it. They are flying under water, which is a lot like the sky, but different. The only difference is that it’s like the sky but upside down. Anyway, it’s really the same thing–flying, but in the water. But definitely not swimming.

Anyway, I don’t fly or swim. And even though they are way cute, I’m cuter. So, I don’t know why she likes the penguins so much.

Fortunately, Jane is not painting a penguin. And even if she does, I’m not posting it on my blog. It’s not that I’m jealous cuz I’m not. I just don’t think that my blog is the right place for birds and cats and stuff. We already have a chicken on here. I have to draw the line somewhere. Don’t you think? Maybe we need some more of Gus….
