Sometimes people ask why I need Jane. It’s kind of a silly question, but believe it or not, they actually ask that. They say, “Well, you have Todd and Gus  and the house. And besides that Jane works from home. So why do you need her around you all the time, like to spend the night and stuff?  And why do you get so excited when she shows up?”

And I say the obvious thing, “Well, Because! Duh!”
But then they just look at me funny.

So, I’ll try to explain.
First. And here’s the main thing, It is not really about me.
And next, you need to understand the relationship between a dog and a dog’s person. If you don’t get that part, well, you’ll just be lost this whole time.

Anyway, Jane needs me.  But I can hear you again with your Why, why, whys. So, that’s another thing you need to understand. It’s not about Why.
Maybe you need to start reading the blog from the beginning. LOL. Just kidding.
But, as I’ve mentioned, this whole thing is about Love. And love doesn’t need a Why. It doesn’t need a reason. It’s an expression, an energy, an independent free moving thing like a ball in the air. Like water running in a stream. Like a bag full of dog treats…

So, it’s just like the way you don’t really get to decide who you love or what your love, you just love. And Jane loves me. And I love her. And so that’s why.

Because.

There. Get it?
