I told Gus that I think Jane has started to worry about what she’s going to do without me.

She doesn’t say so but I can tell the way she looks surprised and relieved when she sees me some times. And we’ve been having extra long snuggle-time.

He said, “Maybe she doesn’t get how this works.”

“What do you mean,”I asked.

He said people need a lot of love. And they worry a lot, too. About Everything.

“They do? Like about what?” I said.

“Cody, I’m telling you, they just do.  They worry about life. They worry about death. They worry about their next meal. What they eat, what they don’t eat, who they love, who they don’t love. Everything.”

“Wow,”I said. “That’s a lot.”

We walked around the yard for a little while and then I said, “Even Jane? Does she worry about everything, too?”

“She’s a person, so yeah, I guess she probably does,” he said. Then we stopped at the far back of the yard and he looked at me and said, “That’s why they need us, Cody.”

“Maybe I’ll tell her she doesn’t have to,” I said, excitedly. “And besides that I’ll always be with her!”

“You can try, Cody-boy. I think she really listens to you,” he said.

“Okay,” I said. “I’ll try.”

Cody says, “You can see more of Jane’s art on her website at http://www.JaneRobertsArt.com” Jane says, “Thanks, Cody. And we hope you enjoy our blog.”
