It’s hard to remember things that happened before I was born. So I’m not sure if I remember this or if I just heard about it.
On this day, 18 years ago, Brendan Roberts was born. And the world hasn’t been the same since.
Jane has a twin brother named John. And John’s son is Brendan. That means Jane is related to Brendan and therefore, so am I. And he’s Ahhhhhhhhmaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaazing!!!! He’s super smart, really sweet, (good with animals and even people), a great sailor, a musician, and a whole bunch of other things, too.
Jane says he’s the star of the family. She calls him The Stellar One, but don’t tell anyone because Brendan is kind of modest and wouldn’t want people to know that.
If you calculate my age in dog years, I’m not sure how many that is, but I’m way older than Brendan. I’m like at least 12 in people years. No one really knows for sure. And so we can’t celebrate my birthday the way we are about to celebrate Brendan’s.I guess approximately that makes me 84 in dog years. That seems like too many years. I mean not that there’s any such thing as too many years, but I don’t feel that old. Except maybe that’s why I’m so wise. LOL.
Here’s a painting of Brendan sailing in Bermuda. Speaking of birthdays, Bermuda is where Brendan’s grandfather was born. Now if you want to talk about a long time ago, I definitely can’t remember that far back. But the year has the age Brendan is in it. But with a 19 in front. In case that doesn’t make sense, I mean 1918. Brendan’s grandfather, Stuart Roberts, will be a the party today to eat crablegs and chocolate cake, sing happy birthday and play games. And you better watch out, because Stuart still wins all the games.
I’m going to be at the party, too! It’s in Chattanooga so I get to go for a pretty long car ride! I can hardly wait.
