Much to my surprise, he said he’d like to start a blog. So, naturally, I asked what he wanted to say. He said that the first thing he wants to say is this:
Love is all that matters.
And the second?
Pay attention to everything.
He says he wants to let people know that that’s what my paintings are about– paying attention to what matters– paying attention to love, which, he said, is really the same thing.
“So, in a way, I just have one thing to say, but I heard that it’s better if you say you have three things. Or five…
But let’s just get started while you’re still paying attention,” he said.
So I said “Okay.” And we started writing things down.
