Today is a birdbath kind of a day. What I mean is, some days my head is like the birdbath when it rains too much. Overflowing. You might wonder what a little dog thinks about all day, but because I’m really a big dog on the inside, I have lots and lots of thoughts. And I can’t really put them into words. And so, because of the too many thoughts, I don’t feel much like talking.
Really, actually, the truth is it’s not so much thoughts but feelings I’m feeling. And if I talk then I don’t know what I’m feeling.
I used to think that if I talked or wrote, I’d figure it out, but lately.if I’m just quiet, then they speak to me instead. I like that. It’s kind of fun.
So today I’m just walking around and sniffing the grass and feeling the air.
Meanwhile, Jane is painting me again. And she’s not talking either. It’s cool to be not talking together. It’s easy. And I like it.
I think she must be feeling “experimental” again…but, since we’re both being quiet, I’m not saying anything…
